PCC LANDSCAPING

As you drive by or drive in to your PCC facilities take special notice of the grounds around them.    You will see many new improvements.   New plantings all around the building, improved lawns with automatic sprinkling system, a back lawn area with a fire pit, newly replaced parking lot curbing, and improved sidewalk in the front will catch your eye.    We thank Nick Skalabrin, Dick Harwood and others that have volunteered their time and energy to make this all happen.

Your PCC  Board of Trustees welcomes you to continue using your pool and hall facilities for your events.

NOTICE:

In 2012, your PCC facilities have been made safer under strict security and night-vision video surveillance by order of the Board of Trustees and with approval of local law enforcement. The security system is required for insurance reasons and for the safety of all our members using the facilities.

We made this choice due to past vandalism around and inside the building as well as the need of member security and safety while using the facilities and parking lots.

If any of the YOUTHE MEMBERSHIP, ARE aware of any event of vandalism or any safety issue that has happened, you are asked to PLEASE immediately notify a member of the PCC presidency or anyone on the PCC Board of Trustees immediately. It is imperative that we don't delay the reporting of any issue due to the safety of the membership and the care of the facilities. This is YOUR responsibility as a member in good standing at PCC.

We are constantly upgrading the security surveillance system.   We just recently (2012) installed Hi-Resolution night vision capable cameras so that we will have facial recognition, even with low light.   We now have the capability of internet access to main-stream video the surveillance cameras from any internet capable PC in the homes of the PCC Presidency and the PCC Board of trustees.   This enables viewing current activity of our facilities at any time day or night.    This upgrade also allows us to provide any issues to our local POLICE authorities for investigation.   This is why we ask each member to alert anyone on the board of any problems immediately so that we may pull up dates and times of issues on our pre-recorded videos for resolution.

The aim of the security / surveillance / PC system is to ensure the safety of all members as well as the security of YOUR wonderful facilities.

Also as of July 14, 2007 your Parkwood Community Club pool has a key card entry reader system. This is another enhancement to your security system for the facilities. The new key card system is computer controlled and logs each entry with a date/time stamp.    We now have the capability of associating the entire membership key-card entry with our membership roster including fees paid.   The PC system is now more automated and accurate. Together with the log-in sheet, PC system and the surveillance system, a record of each member entry into the pool, along with visitors and family will enable the staff to verify authorized users at all times.    This is an insurance/safety issue for us all.   If there is an emergency / medical problem and the affected person(s) are not logged in to utilize the pool at the time of the incident, our insurance will NOT cover the person(s) involved.   Please, let's all be responsible.

We ask that the membership follow all the pool entry and user rules and regulations, which will enable the membership continued use of the pool facilities.
Failure to comply to ALL the rules and regulations (however minor) will result in a full lockout of your family's MEMBERSHIP and access to the pool and use of the facilities.  To have your membership reinstated you will need to go to the PCC board in person and request reinstatement.

We thank you, in advance, for your continued cooperation and enjoyment of your facilities.
